The Company implements the principle of non-discrimination against gender, religion, ethnicity, and race, with an open attitude from the recruitment process to career development. This principle of non-discrimination and gender equality is not only important to create an inclusive and fair work environment, but also provides business benefits such as improving the quality of recruitment, optimal use of human resources and also growing employee commitment to the company.
The Company never does forced labor on anyone. All employee recruitment is carried out according to the procedures determined by the Company. Health tests must also be passed by all employees to ensure that employees who work are in a state of passing the test and are declared healthy to work.
The Company has also never recruited children throughout the history of the Company. All existing employees are ensured to have undergone special training to be able to work. The internship program as a sailor training is taken from the maritime school every year.
The Company refers to Law Number 20 of 2001 of the Republic of Indonesia concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption which was previously Law Number 31 of 1999. Socialization of anti-corruption policies is well communicated to all Company leaders to employees and staff through work ethics training. To improve the anti-corruption culture, the Audit Committee and Internal Audit Division also play an important role in implementing this culture so that corruption does not occur.
The Company's policy on preventing corruption is as follows:
1. Bribery
The Company socializes to all employees, management and stakeholders not to commit bribery, either by receiving or giving.
2. Gratification
The Company does not have a culture of accepting gratification. This is important to comply with to avoid conflicts of interest in the future.
3. Gifts
The Company also urges all employees, management and stakeholders not to accept gifts for reasons that could be detrimental to the Company.
